To meet the needs of today’s older adult, and the demands of an ever-aging Baby Boomer population, Rock River Center is taking a proactive approach in creating a facility that provides a convenient, one stop approach for a complete range of services. The goal is to construct a contemporary, energetic facility designed to meet the growing demand for support services for adults 55+. |

Rock River Center has launched a $1.8 million dollar campaign to build a new 15,000 square foot facility that will sit on six acres of property, donated by the Oregon Park District. Elements in the new facility will include:
• Private client service
• Programming space for group meetings, classes, dining and collaborative programming
• A ballroom
• A large, well lit, accessible parking area
• And, a cyber cafe
Rock River Center campaign’s team, led by Jim Black of Maplehurst Farms, and James Barnes, former Mayor of the City of Oregon, is representative of the various communities throughout Ogle County.
